I've been using PCHelpware for several months now, and it has been an outstanding product for the price, $0.00. The base server is easy to setup and use. And deploying the clients is equally as easy. This is a great product for people needing to provide support to Windows machines on a budget.

The biggest letdown I've seen with the product so far is that it is not cross platform for the server clients. Windows based only :( Also, the linux repeater is a little buggy requiring the service to be restarted from time to time (Although this problem could be due to the virtual hardware I have the service running on

On the bright side though. The service works when the client and the expert are behind different nats. I've setup a client download executable on a web site that is easy to walk users through to start. Then I'm in. Also, I have found a way to allow the client to work accross reboot. You have to set the user to autologin and use command line arguements to create a script that you place in the startup folder on the windows machine.

Overall, the program has a few gotcha's like I don't understand why the developers made working over reboots a task to complete. Its a good product and its saved my butt by allowing me help neighbors down the street and work clients in other countries.
